Storm Water Run-Off Regulatory Compliance
With more businesses concerned over the recent regulations passed leaving property owners financially responsible for the disposal of water runoff, Western Environmental Services has implemented several methods to contain, vacuum, transport, and dispose of these waste waters. Provide significant enhancements to Water Board water quality capabilities, including:
- Establishes new penalties for submitting false information and removing unnecessary barriers to prompt, effective enforcement actions.
- Improves the equitable implementation of the Mandatory Minimum Penalty law for small, disadvantaged communities.
- Authorizes District Attorneys and City Attorneys for cities with a population of 750,000 or more, at the request of the Water Boards, to seek civil liability for water quality violations.
Western Environmental Services, Inc. provides a three technician HAZWOPER trained crew to scrub, pressure wash/steam clean, contain and vacuum pump any area open to stormwater runoff. Equipment, walls, secondary containment, floors and parking areas are a few locations which we clean. We properly manifest waste and disposed to a licensed and permitted TSD Facility. The cost of improperly maintained Best Management Practices (BMPs) can be devastating to a business and community. Improperly maintained BMPs not only decrease in efficiency of removing pollutants, they also create environmental hazards (such as flooding and contamination), placing an owner or property manager at risk for liability.
